Melani Nanai

Melani has two other brothers who are both keen rugby players. His
brother Kitiona is currently contracted to the All Blacks sevens squad whilst his youngest brother Cody was recently part of the New Zealand secondary school team.

Melani is no rookie to Super Rugby and professional experience. Playing for Auckland and the Blues over 2014-2019 he gained 64 appearances for the Super Rugby side. Following the 2019 season he moving overseas to the UK and played for the Worcester Warriors. In 2022 he signed with Bay of Plenty but unfortunately couldn’t take field due to injuries. 2023 will see his first return to professional rugby since 2019 which is sure to be exciting!
