FUN FACT:
When Chay was selected to be a part of the Crusaders Academy, he moved to Christchurch from Auckland, where he now lives with fellow Crusader Tamaiti Williams. Chay is of Fijian Tongan Descent, and his favourite pastime is listening to music!
Chay was in the Crusaders Academy, where he won the Jock Hobbs Tournament with the 2019 U20 team. He then made the NZ U20's in 2021. On debut for Canterbury he kicked a 55m winning goal against Auckland to keep Canterbury out of relegation!
